Das Konzert fand in Addis Ababa im " Hilton Hotel "statt .
Da der Veranstaltungssaal erst um 18.00 frei war , hatte die Lokale Crew und ich nur zwei Stunden Zeit für den kompletten Technikaufbau und Soundcheck .
Doch wir schafften alles in der Zeit , so konnte das Konzert nur um eine viertel Stunde verspätet anfangen ... !
Trotz des ziemlich verstimmten Flügels schaffte es Omar das Publikum wieder einmal in seinen Bann zu ziehen !
Als dann " Seleshe " , für zwei gemeinsame Songs, die Bühne betrat , gab es kein Halten mehr und der ganze Saal stimmte in das allseits bekannten äthiopischen Lied ein !
The concert was played in the " Hilton Hotel " in Addis Ababa .
As the hall was only available 6 .00 Pm the local crew and I had only two hours time for the whole technical setup + soundcheck ...
But everything went pretty fast and we could start the concert only with a delay of 15 minutes !
Despite of the out - of tune piano , Omar was able to fascinate the whole audience !!
When " Seleshe" entered the stage for two songs - all the spectators joined him singing a traditional ethiopian song ....!
